Our Services NW Designs provides a complete end to end web page
design service intended to help you establish an online
presence that suits your company or your individual needs.
We offer several design packages that provide our customers with a range
of options to meet their web page needs. For the
business that wants a web presence, but has limited resources or wants to
try the web on for size, we offer two low
cost alternatives.
A Web Business Card is limited
feature product for a business desiring to get their name, contact
information and essential content listed on the web with minimal investment.
A Generic Web Page provides a single web
page consisting of a customer provided graphic and content with a choice of
color schemes and navigation methods and one link to an external URL.
For the company that needs a completely customized interactive web site with
considerably more content and sophisticated communication styles, we offer our
standard Full Feature design package.
For initial web pages, we can assist in domain name registration and
hosting of your web page and submission to the most prominent search engines. If
you currently have a web page we will be happy to assist you, making changes as
necessary. We also provide a monthly
maintenance service for our customers that ensures
that your web page is kept current.
The Design Process
The design begins by
consulting with the customer through either a face to face meeting or a phone
call to determine what your needs are for the web page. We work as a team,
bringing our Internet, technical and design expertise together with your
resources to create the most effective Internet presence for your organization.
We discuss such issues as market segment, intended audience, sample designs,
functionality, color schemes, etc.
We can use any existing text or graphic
materials that you want in the web page. We prefer that you send the text (see
details) that you want to use in your Web site by either e-mail, computer disk
or using the convenient questionnaires on our web site. However if, this is not possible, we can type the
information for you for an additional fee. We can also scan any photos or logo
that you want used in the page. If you are not sure what you want and
need additional ideas, we will perform webpage
research that provides you with sample web pages.
The design
requirements are documented on a questionnaire form that both we and
you can refer to throughout the design process. We then provide
you with an estimate of the cost of designing the page. When both parties are in
agreement we then begin the actual page design.

Every web page needs constant care and feeding on
a regular basis. Links to other web pages need to be verified to make sure
they are still valid. We monitor your page to see where it is displayed by the various search engines
and do everything we can to ensure that it is displayed near the beginning of
the search results. Those customers who do not subscribe to our monthly
maintenance services will be charged a $5 account reactivation fee in addition
to our hourly rate should their website need updating.

We will search (surf) the web for prospective
and existing clients to find the best practices used by other web pages in
similar market segments. The results of this service are presented to you in a prospectus of possible updates to
your page to keep you ahead of your competitors.

Cost Estimate
The customer can request an estimate of the cost
of designing the page by emailing us the
questionnaire form
prior to our face to face meeting.
Information Exchange Requirements
We prefer that you send the text
that you want to use in your Web site by e-mail or computer disk.
You may send the text file in several formats:
- American Standard Code for Information Interchange (.txt)
- Rich Text File (.rtf)
- Microsoft Word Document (.doc)
We also accept a variety of media formats, including:
- Standard 3.5" PC floppy disks
- cd-roms
- Iomega 100 or 250 MB Zip disks
- For files less than 2 MB, it is usually best to e-mail the files to us
